A yellow paisley printed playsuit and a tapestry drawstring duffle bag are June must haves! #fbloggers

I am sometimes a little scared of prints, especially the busy colourful sort. I was browsing through River Island and saw the yellow paisley print playsuit. The paisley print covers the entire playsuit, and the mix of colours fit so nicely against the yellow. It's got a square open back detail, and the sleeves stop just at the elbow, which I completely love. This is definitely a summer essential. Here I am again talking about denim jackets; nothing has changed this month. What I love most about denim jackets, and well any sort of denim really, is that it's basically a blank canvas and is susceptible to customisation. This aztec appliqué jacket by Sister Jane has an embroidery panel across the back, and a subtle detail across the front. I have always been a dog person, there is something about cats that really freak me out. I think it's the way they look at you, you just don't know what they're thinking. Anyway, I tend to stay completely clear from cat-like things, but I really love this cat cross body bag from Skinnydip; I don't know whether it's the simplicity of the silhouette, or the cute facial detail, but I really do like it.

I mentioned in my wishlist last month (I think), where I was talking about how much I love California, and I don't want to be one of those people who wear everything they love across their chest, though it seems to be heading that way. The green Los Angeles printed turtle neck top from River Island is a sort of subtle way to express my love. I love the short turtle neck, and the retro style of font, plus I don't actually own anything green so this is a must. When it comes to summer, or even spring, everyone feels the need to throw any dark colours to the back of their wardrobe, but this isn't necessary. The suede button front a-line skirt from Topshop is a great little piece which can be styled with a crop-top, or a loose sheer blouse to create the perfect summer look. I'm a huge fan of Deena & Ozzy shoes, with my new favourites being the lace-up hurachi sandals in tan. There is always such delicate detail when it comes to D&O shoes, and the coloured woven detail just give that little bo-ho feel.

Let me know in the comments below what you're loving this June, and what are your summer wardrobe staples.
