If you have read my Boots haul I posted last month, you would have noticed some new products I bought to try for my new skincare routine. As there are lots of products on the market, I did some research online to find the best products suited for me. I wanted something that would help with my oily skin, and to help clean deep into my pores; this is when I came across Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Cleanser. I was drawn to this product mainly because of the glycolic acid, which is a natural ingredient that gently exfoliates your skin to remove dead skin cells, and with the deep cleansing qualities, it helps retexture for a brighter, radiant complexion. It also has olive oil to hydrate and smooth your skin, and apple amino to cleanse and purify your skin for a cleaner feel. I love the grapefruit scent; it's such a refreshing quality.

The instructions are pretty standard, "gently and thoroughly massage on damp skin. Rinse with lukewarm water." The cleanser is pretty runny, but once you work it into your face, it thickens and lathers when mixed with water. I use my Soap and Glory face brush to work into problem areas, and areas I feel any spots coming on, as I feel the brush gives it a better clean. I just add a bit of water to my brush and work into my face in a circular motion. Once washed off, my face feels so smooth and it feels properly clean, not just washed. I would recommend using a moisturising face cream with this cleanser as it does make your skin feel pretty tight. I tend to use this during the evenings as it helps clear my face after the build-up during the day, plus I don't want to completely dry out my skin. I had noticed when using it over spots, they feel tight and dried up, as if the cleanser has directly worked into them. After the next morning, I do notice my spots going completely down and feeling less inflamed and smoothed out. I do use this alongside a moisturiser which is meant to help eliminate spots, blackheads and blemishes, so I'm not sure which is doing what, but together, they're a great team. (I use Avene Cleanance K, but I'll be talking more about that in another review).

I have found the perfect cleanser from @NipandFab for oily skin that cleanses deep into your pours! #bbloggers

VERDICT:

I am really enjoying using this cleanser and I am noticing a change in my skin, even on those days when I forget to use it (naughty Aycan!). It is priced at £7.95 for a 150ml bottle, but you only need a small amount per day so it is definitely worth it. Nip + Fab also have some other products in their glycolic range, such as scrubs and overnight serums, which might be better for someone who wants other products to use alongside the cleanser as a complete package. I would recommend this to anyone who has oily skin and wants something to help neutralise it with a deep cleanse and natural exfoliants. I would also advise using a face brush as it really helps work the cleanser into your face.

Let me know in the comments below if you have used any of the Nip + Fab glycolic range and what you thought of them. I will be reviewing the other products from my haul so make sure you're following (links below and top right) so you don't miss out.
