the disney tag

I came across the Disney Tag on Kirstie's blog, A Yellow Brick Blog, and as an adoring Disney fan, I thought I'd do it too. Be warned, I do go into depth with the answers, and they do include some embarrassing photos of myself at Disney. To continue with the Disney theme, tomorrows Little White Wednesday will be very Disney, so make sure you subscribe so you don't miss that!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE DISNEY FILM?

This question is like picking your favourite child out of hundreds! I am going to go with the three that I remember liking the most as a child and still love them now; Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, Alice In Wonderland and Beauty and The Beast. I remember always watching Snow White and just wanting to be her in that adorable dress and bow, and live in a little cottage with the seven dwarfs (minus the Evil Queen). Dopey was my favourite! I love how Alice In Wonderland is purely based on imagination and dreams and you're constantly expecting the unexpected. I think Beauty and The Beast would be my all time favourite. I love the characters, the songs and just the meaningful message behind the movie.

WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE DISNEY CHARACTER?

I am going to pick the original Queen of Disney, Minnie Mouse. She has an amazing dress sense, (I wonder if this will pop up in tomorrow's Little White Wednesday) and always has a bow in her hair. Her relationship with Micky is just adorable. She is an icon. Obviously I'm going to pick another character and go with Pinocchio; I love how his character was built on a wish upon a star. I wish I had Jiminy Cricket as my conscience, it would make it easier to decide on doing the right things.

WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE DISNEY PRINCESS, AND WHY?

To go with my favourite movie, I'm going to pick Belle. She's intelligent, modest and doesn't follow the crowd and fall at Gaston's feet. The way she is passionate about reading and even though other people think it's stupid, she still loves doing it. She is brave and choses to live in a dungeon instead of her Father. She can always see the best in people and managed to help the Beast turn into a handsome Prince. As her name says, she is beautiful and I love the scene in the movie when she is in the gorgeous yellow gown and she walks down the staircase to meet the new and improved Beast. Can I be her please?

WHO WOULD YOU RATHER BE, SLEEPING BEAUTY (AURORA), OR CINDERELLA

I think I'd rather be Cinderella. I don't like the fact she was practically kept as a slave and would have to do all that cleaning, but I really want a fairy godmother, especially one that can turn rags into beautiful gowns. The whole idea of loosing a shoe and your Prince charming using this to try and find you, it's so romantic!

WHO WOULD YOU RATHER BE, HERCULES OR TARZAN

Hercules, but maybe the female version called errrm Herculena. I'd have super hero strength and be able to use all those cool weapons. I wish I was able to keep my immortality so I wouldn't age or get hurt. Maybe that would be one of my new challenges as Herculena to get it back. Mount Olympus looks great to live in; it's surrounded by clouds. Let's not forget I'd get to have Pegasus! A beautiful white horse with a blue tail and giant wings. Actually, can I be Pegasus?

WHO WOULD YOU PREFER TO BE, LIZZIE MCGUIRE, OR RAVEN BAXTER

Raven Baxter 100%! How amazing would it be to able to have visions and know what's going to happen next. I would probably be worse than her and always take the visions the completely wrong way. She loves her fashion like me and wanted to be a designer too. Not sure how much I'd want an intern with Donna Cabonna thought, she doesn't sound too good. It would also be cool to dress up as all the characters she disguise herself as.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE DISNEY SONG

Why are these questions so hard! I think my favourite part of a Disney movie has to be the songs. I wish my life was full of impromptu moments of song and dance! Well, to be honest, I'm always up for a vocal verse or two like when you're walking down the street, it starts to rain and you've left my umbrella at home and you just need to sing about it. I really need to stop watching High School Musical... anyways back to the question. To make it easier for me to pick, I am going to go with the two most played Disney song from my iTunes which are 'Part Of Your World' from The Little Mermaid and 'I See The Light' from Tangled. I love ALL the songs from The Little Mermaid, but I just love the passion and emotion from Part Of Your World. And again, all the songs from Tangled are great but 'I See The Light' is set in such a perfect scene when Rapunzel and Flynn are in the boat surrounded by the lanterns and she's finally achieved her dream and their relationship is blossoming. It's all romantic and cute!

WHICH DISNEY CHARACTER WOULD BE YOUR BEST FRIEND?

Ariel from The Little Mermaid. I love how she is always set on an idea and just goes for it. We would have so much fun getting up to mischief, plus she is a mermaid and lives in the ocean therefore I would have to be a mermaid and live in the ocean which is pretty cool. It would be great to be friends with Alice to, we could go on imaginative size-changing adventures together.

WHICH DISNEY CHARACTER WOULD BE YOUR PET?

I am going to go for Lady from Lady and The Tramp. Even thought she is an ordinary pet, I'm still yet to own a dog and if I was to have one, she would have the personality of Lady. She's elegant and loving and you know what they say about pets being like their owners (personality not looks!!). I'm not sure he is classed as a pet as he is a china teacup who was once a boy, but I'm also going to pick Chip from Beauty and The Beast. He is adorable and I love that bit in the movie when his mum (a teapot) is singing 'There may be something there that wasn't there before', and chip is all cute and innocent asking 'what's there Mama?' and she won't tell him till he is older. Love it!

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO DISNEYLAND? IF SO WHICH ONE?

I was lucky enough to spend two weeks at the Disney World Resort, Florida in 2009. I had literally been begging to go their since I knew what the word 'Disney' meant, and even if I had to wait till I was 18 to go, I still loved it as much, and maybe more than if I went when I was younger. I think during the whole holiday, it just felt like I was living in a dream world. I still expect to leave a Disney store in the UK and see a parade coming down the road; it never happens *sad face*! While I was in California in 2012, I spent a day at Disneyland, Anaheim. It was the first Disney park built so it was nice being in the orginal location. I will definitely without a doubt be going back one day.

I've had a lot of fun doing this, so I tag any of you Disney fans to do this too! Let me know in the comments below what your favourite Disney song is.
